Dearest Silent Storyteller,
Perfect sentiments for this day. Ravishing photo which is finding its way into my archive and a lovely quote by Voltaire. A treat for the eyes and heart as your blog always is.

Dear Errant Aesthete, you are so kind. I'm sure your archive of pictures would make the perfect photographic collection. I would love to have a printed copy

I love this picture of Tanaquil..................ravishing. If you have time get your hands on a copy of 'Somewhere:The Life Of Jerome Robbins' by Amanda Vaill, there is lots about 'Tanny', as her pals called her..........
Bravo on finding such a marvelous picture.

Thanks P. I wanted to post some images of the book you gave me.. but they are incrediblely hard to find online, which makes the book even more special! Anyway in my research I found these of Tanny, there is a wonderful close up too with her autograph..I may post it sometime in the future...

I'm always in awe of stills, sketches, paintings of women in a motion of dance.
Oh, dancing and reading is my life! And Voltaire, of course. =)
