Last Thursday I went to see NCAD 2010 graduate fashion show. Amongst the graduates, my incredible Spring Summer 2008 season assistant, Amanda Grogan, was showing her final year collection. I was so excited to see her pieces come down the catwalk.
I'm sure this will be the begining of a promising career. She has the enthusiasm, personality, drive and commitment to make it through the adventures the next few years will offer her.
Selected from houndreds of candidates from around the world she has been chosen as a finalist in Italian Mittelmoda competition next July....We wish you the best and break a leg!!!
I feel so lucky to have shared a season with her and hope someday we will do something together!
Gorgeous work would love to see more, all the best to you Amanda and Good Luck with Mittelmoda...and a bit of advice...Always be true to yourself!
