I spent a few days in Paris last week, shopping and getting insipration for the new collection.
Not a difficult place to source wonderful ideas. I spent the first few days going to all my favourite suppliers...Mokuba, Fried Freres and a few showrooms of France's fabulous lace makers....
...the view from the little attic apartment where I stayed, on rue Lepic
I brought back many, many bundles of fabric...
I can't wait to start turning them into new styles......

Divine lace! x

Those fabrics are wonderful! Such lovely textures. It's probably a good thing that I can't jet off to Paris...I would spend all my money on beautiful supplies like that.
Can't wait to see what you do with them!

The fabrics look wonderful, and folded so orderly and expectantly there they make me think of great old houses with high windows and cold winters, and the women who would live in them in lace-topped knit dresses and perfect shoes.

such beautiful pictures. that pose at the top makes me think of the pigeon-toed stance that 99% of the street posers and 99% of the editorial posers strike when a camera is pointed in their direction.
