'Absence extinguishes small passions and increases great ones,
as the wind blows out a candle, and blows in a fire'
François de la Rochefoucauld
The past few months have been wonderfully chaotic. My life has been taken over by exciting commissions and projects which are in the making and yet to be made. I have felt an overwhelming guilt that this blog has taken a back seat in the priorities of life and that I must explain my rather infrequent posting. I am still quietly visiting all my virtual friends and I try to say hello when I can.
But it has been very hard to keep up with the dedication required to be part of this online community. My brain is in need of as much quiet time as it can get, as it is in over drive with ideas for my 'non virtual' activities.
I hope life will get back to some normality in the next few months and my posting will become as dedicated as is has been since I started in September last year.
I miss you all but will be back every now and then..have a lovely summer!

I sooooooooooooo catch your drift, and often feel I need to take a break from the computer and posting.

I think I'm in that kind of state of mind, too. But I always look forward to your posts, despite the length of time in between them. They are always meaningful and makes me reflect other things not usual. Good luck! =)

It's summertime and there is life, work and _____. Hurry back, do. I'm the same, spotty and sporadic and there's no time to ponder (I love that word) on a thing.

Just the right quote and post to catch the eye of other like-minded virtual neighbors--of which I am one! No, no, no guilt is not the thing (I tell myself)!! It's not the frequency of posts it's the quality. Afterall, this is all bonus, isn't it?! Have a wonderful restful and inspiring summer. I look forward to reading more Silent tales when ever you're ready!
